Founded as the result of a pub discussion on why the Welsh sang and the English didn't, the Asparagus Singers have now become a venerated institution in the village of Fulbeck, famed and lauded in  places as far afield as Leadenham and Caythorpe - on the odd occasion

Membership is exclusively restricted to those who share in the ethos of the group: a bit of singing; a bit of drinking; a bit of chatting; a bit more drinking and trying to make sense of what David is telling us ..

The Singers rarely do "turns" as that would probably involve far more commitment and possibly less drinking in the rehearsals, but, by golly when we do turn up and perform people sometimes say we're quite good!
